1. General information
The subject and its expected results respond to the following approaches and goals:
"Practice of administrative and labour procedural procedures", aims to deepen the administrative and judicial procedures taught in other subjects of the degree (e.g. labour procedural law), familiarising students with the preparation of written documents, the filling in of forms and the oral defences.
Consequently, the subject provides students with a reinforcement of the conceptual framework and a deepening in the applicative and practical aspects of the labour process and administrative intervention in labour and Social Security relations and enables them to intervene in the resolution of individual and collective conflicts and in the relations with the Labour Authority and the Social Security Administration.
These approaches and goals are aligned with the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations Agenda 2030 (https://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/es/), in such a way that the acquisition of the subject learning results provides training and competence to contribute to some extent to their achievement:

2. Learning results
The student, in order to pass this subject, must demonstrate the following results...
-Knows how to search for and understand administrative and procedural labor law, knows how to correctly handle legal techniques and the appropriate methodology for their interpretation, application and problem solving, and is able to adapt to new situations arising from regulatory changes
-Is capable of drafting and filing claims and other documents before the competent administrative and judicial bodies, in a systematic and rigorous.
-Is capable of expressing and orally defending his/her arguments and rebutting opposing arguments with precision and order
-Is able to intervene, elaborate and present writs, appeals and claims before the labor and Social Security Administration, in a systematic and rigorous way.
-Is able to cooperate with other students to develop their knowledge within the framework of the internship, seminars and directed work
3. Syllabus
Didactic unit 1: Administrative procedures in the labor field.
Didactic unit 2: Proceedings for the imposition of penalties for social infractions.
Didactic unit 3: Administrative Procedures in the field of Social Security.
Didactic unit 4: In-depth study of Labor Judicial Proceedings.
4. Academic activities
The program offered to the student to help him/her achieve the expected results comprises the following activities...
Expository classes: 15 hours
--Master class presentation of the most significant contents of each didactic unit to facilitate their understanding and study.
Practical classroom classes: 45 hours
Student work and evaluation: 90 hours

5. Assessment system
The student must demonstrate that he/she has achieved the expected learning outcomes by means of the following assessment activities:consultation
Practical test, which will take place at the end of the semester, in which knowledge, identification and comprehension of the theoretical framework and application of the labour process and the administrative labour and Social Security regulations must be demonstrated, by means of a written test consisting of the resolution of a practical case, in which conceptual clarity, the relationship between the different theoretical and practical elements, the proposed solution, the use of jurisprudence and other legal instruments, as well as the correct preparation and presentation of the results and the use of legal terminology and language will be assessed. This test will weigh 60 percent of the final grade.
The performance of different practical activities throughout the semester, which will be compulsory, and which will serve to assess the ability to search for, select and manage the appropriate regulations and documentation and apply them to solve specific problems within the framework of the judicial solution of labour conflicts and administrative intervention in labour relations, as well as the correct preparation and presentation of the results orally and/or in writing. The strategy or decision adopted and the use of information and communication technologies associated with these subjects will also be assessed through these activities. All of these practical activities represent 40 percent of the final grade.
The final grade will be the sum of the grades of each of the two parts, and the student must have obtained, at least a pass mark (50 percent) in both tests.
According to the regulations in force, the results obtained will be graded according to the following numerical scale from 0 to 10, to one decimal place, to which the corresponding qualitative grade may be added:
- From 0 to 4.9: Failure
- From 5.0 to 6.9: approved
- From 7.0 to 8.9: notable
- 9 to 10: outstanding
The mention "Matrícula de Honor" may be awarded to students who have obtained a grade equal to or higher than 9 in the subject.
Tests for non-attendance students or those who present themselves in other calls other than the first one:
Students who have not passed the assessment system of the previous section, or those who have not attended the course and who have to sit for the first or the following call will take a global assessment test consisting of a practical exam in which knowledge, identification and understanding of the normative theoretical framework and application of the labour process and the administrative labour regulations must be demonstrated by means of a written test, in which conceptual clarity, the relationship between the different theoretical and practical elements, the proposed solution, the use of jurisprudence and other legal instruments, as well as the correct preparation and presentation of the results and the use of legal terminology and language will be assessed. In addition, will perform a theoretical test in which they must answer the questionnaire of open and short questions that, on the theoretical issues, are raised in relation to the case performed. The value of the practical exam will be 60 percent of the final grade and the theoretical test will have a value of 40 percent of the final grade. In order to pass the subject, at least a passing grade (50 percent) must be obtained in both tests.
